Step 1
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk for 5 minutes. Stir in sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt. Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
