Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, milk, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined (do not overmix).
Step 2
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased 9x5 inch loaf pan, or on a baking sheet.
Step 3
In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar for the glaze.
Step 4
Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
Step 5
Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, spread the remaining glaze over the top, and return to oven for another 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Step 6
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
