Step 1
Slice beef thinly against the grain. Marinate with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp cornstarch for 15 minutes.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk together remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, sesame oil, and 1 tbsp cornstarch for the stir-fry sauce.
Step 3
Blanch broccoli florets in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
Step 4
Heat 1 tbsp cooking oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and mostly cooked. Remove from wok.
Step 5
Add remaining oil to the wok. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 6
Return beef to the wok, add blanched broccoli. Pour in the prepared sauce. Cook, stirring, until sauce thickens and coats ingredients, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 7
Serve immediately with steamed jasmine rice.
