Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Rub half of this mixture over the chicken breasts.

Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears. On the prepared baking sheet, toss the asparagus with the remaining olive oil mixture, ensuring they are lightly coated.

Place the seasoned chicken breasts on one side of the baking sheet and the asparagus on the other. Slice the lemon half into thin rounds and place them over the chicken.
