Step 1
Prepare all fillings: slice tuna, salmon, cucumber, avocado, and carrots. Arrange neatly on a platter for easy access.
Step 2
Ensure sushi rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. Keep it warm or at room temperature, covered with a damp cloth.
Step 3
Cut nori sheets in half to create rectangular pieces for hand rolls.
Step 4
To assemble: place a nori half in your palm. Spread a thin layer of rice (about 2 tbsp) diagonally across one corner of the nori.
Step 5
Add desired fillings over the rice. Be careful not to overfill.
Step 6
Starting from the corner with the rice, roll the nori into a cone shape. A small grain of rice can help seal the edge.
Step 7
Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger. Enjoy making and eating your custom hand rolls!
