Step 1
Heat seafood broth to gentle simmer in pot
Step 2
Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in butter until fragrant
Step 3
Add mussels and clams, cover and cook for 3 minutes until they release juices
Step 4
Remove mussels and clams with slotted spoon, set aside and discard unopened ones
Step 5
Add rice to pan with shellfish and stir for 2 minutes
Step 6
Deglaze with white wine and stir until absorbed
Step 7
Add warm broth one ladle at a time, stirring constantly until absorbed between additions
Step 8
Add shrimp and cooked mussels and clams in final 2 minutes of cooking
Step 9
Finish with butter, Parmesan, and fresh parsley, season with salt and pepper
Step 10
Serve immediately in warm bowls
